What is the green social prescribing movement?
The green prescribing movement uses nature based activities to contribute towards improved mental and physical health.
Forty two charities, community groups and Sheffield businesses have lit up the Cathedral by decorating their tree in beautiful and imaginative ways.
SAGE decorated ours with sustainable materials, such as dried cranberries tied together to make a garland; wood with messages from our members, such as ‘SAGE is my tribe”; and gold painted leaves. We are all very proud of our tree.Â
Before we said our goodbyes for Christmas break, we all met at the Cathedral for some lunch and a natter. Celebrating another year of growth for SAGE. Growth of support, arts, gardening and education on all our members.Â

To continue the growth and care that Sage contributes to our local communities, we’re very excited to welcome our new director, Paula.
Never miss news by SAGE by joining our monthly newsletter, where we’ll be sharing service updates and stories from our users and volunteers.Â
