What to expect

We begin with group-building activities and move on to singing warm-ups, including physical relaxation, breathing and gentle vocal exercises. Then we learn simple songs in parts. As part of this process, we encourage sharing and discussion, so that people get the chance to be part of the group and widen their social networks.

At the end of each term, the members of the singing group will have the opportunity to take home a CD of all the songs that they have learnt and sung that term, so they can continue to enjoy listening and singing along to them in their own home.
