At SAGE, we grow achievement in our members through horticulture, art and education – understanding the vital components to contribute to positive wellbeing that can sometimes be hard to find. We provide our members with greenery, social connection, physical activity and creativity. With our support, members have reported a growth in optimistic mental wellbeing and their confidence that continues to bloom in their every day lives.
The Green Prescribing movement uses activities that contributes to positive health and wellbeing through nature based activities that promote social connection, mental wellbeing and physical activity.
Our members tell us that we have been KEY in turning their lives around. We recognise the benefits of engagement with creativity and green spaces to support an individual's mental health.
Through building relationships and trust with our members helps support them to make progress and undertake new activities and experiences.
We support and encourage our members to engage in their areas of interest, which we hope will lead to reduced social isolation, improved well-being and resilience. We are flexible and responsive to members changing needs, whilst we work with members to support their mental health.
